“She was a swift, small-winged dragon, silver-scaled and glittery”

A decent couple o’ paragraphs today from THE FLAME OF BATTLE, and also a bunch of pretty flowers (mine). I realized that Nordic dragons would be a little different than the southern Italian dragons, and the ways these dragons were adapted to the cold weather needed to make sense. Silver dragons make more sense in a land of ice and snow (and it’s decent camouflage).

The work continues on THE FLAME OF BATTLE. I got stuck on a chapter, and that chapter is still all in a jumble, but I’m moving forward instead of flailing uselessly in verbiage. I can always go back once I figure out what’s going on and then I can fix up that chapter.

Preorder this book! It is going to be a doozy.
